Indeed, it's not all flattering, and although David Foster Wallace came up as my first result, I only thought it fair and honest to 'fess up to less laudable writing, too.
I put in three examples from Dr Grumble and got Foster Wallace followed by Dan Brown followed by Leo Tolstoy at which point I stopped.
Dan Brown? Does that mean you write exciting stuff, but really badly?
I got Arthur Conan-Doyle!
I get Wallace - I presume due to excessive footnotes.
